The regulatory information published here is tied to its official text and rechecked regularly. It is given for guidance only and is neither legal advice nor an engineering study.

In particular, deciding whether a building or an organisation falls under a regulatory obligation is for the organisation concerned, not for the engineering consultancy. Simeal establishes technical facts (floor areas, rated capacities, energy consumption, commissioning dates) and draws the technical consequences. The legal characterisation that follows belongs to whoever bears the obligation.

A text may change between two checks, and a particular situation may fall under an exception this site does not mention. No decision committing works, an investment or a declaration should be taken on the reading of these pages alone.
